Linda Ham, Chief Geologist at the Canada-Nunavut Geoscience Office in Iqaluit, came to our workshop and opened up us up to a whole new understanding of our cylinder seals by showing us where in Nunavut each stone came from; the students in turn talked about their experiences living on the land, sharing the beauty and geological richness of the Canadian Arctic.
